John E. traded Omar Cooper away on Saturday night, traded for him again on Sunday morning, acquired a running back at 11:34, and scored 146.98 — his best of the year by twenty. Michael started two dead slots for the third straight week and can still win tonight. Josh has 136 against the 5-1 team. Sal Bianchi files the halftime report.

Here is John E.’s week, in order. Thursday, 9:07 a.m.: wins Omar Cooper on waivers. Thursday, 9:15: signs Geno Smith. Saturday, 8:41 p.m.: offers Cooper to mike for Rachaad White; the trade goes through at 6:57 Sunday morning. Sunday, 8:25 a.m.: trades White back to mike for Cooper, and this time it costs him a pick — his 2027 thirteenth-rounder for mike’s fifteenth. Sunday, 9:22 a.m.: offers Jordyn Tyson, who is on injured reserve, to Anthony for Blake Corum; Anthony accepts at 11:34. Sunday, noon: Geno Smith 21.48, Cooper 22.5, Corum 17.1, Trey McBride 27.1, Luther Burden 23.7. John E. 146.98, Sean 80.12. John E. is done. Sean has CeeDee Lamb and Brandon Aubrey on Monday and the Seahawks defense tonight and needs 66.87, with Caleb Douglas (21.0) and Caleb Williams (19.12) on his bench. One hundred forty-seven. The man was 0-5 two weeks ago and this is the highest score anyone has posted since mike’s 187. He leads the series 15-6 and it is about to be 16-6.

Josh 136.28, Jonathan 67.32. Josh fixed all three bye slots. Joe Burrow came back and scored 27.88, Tee Higgins 26.8, Colston Loveland 19.9, T.J. Hockenson 13.5 out of the flex. Josh is finished and leads by 68.96; Jonathan has Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Harrison Butker — won back on waivers Thursday — and the Chiefs defense, claimed Saturday, in the night game. He needs 68.97 from the three of them. Cam Skattebo, benched after his 0.0, scored 19.1 on the bench. The 5-1 team is going to be 5-2 unless the Chiefs and Smith-Njigba produce the game of their lives in Seattle.

Nick 107.62, John P. 60.22. Nick dropped Michael Penix on Sunday morning for a kicker, started Jared Goff, and Goff scored 16.02; KC Concepcion scored 23.2 in the flex, McCaffrey 22.0, Swift 19.0. Nick is done. John P. got 2.42 from Bryce Young with Kirk Cousins scoring 18.4 on his bench, for the second time this season, and has Ryan Flournoy on Monday and Jason Myers tonight, needing 47.41. The 110th win will wait. The series heads for 18-8.

Kevin 95.18, Timothy 76.46. Bo Nix scored 26.28 for Kevin a week after scoring 2.48, and A.J. Brown, back from injured reserve, scored 7.8. Kevin has Jake Ferguson on Monday; Timothy has Saquon Barkley and Darius Cooper, signed Saturday night, in the same Cowboys–Eagles game and needs 18.73 net. Jordan Love scored 15.96 for Timothy with Dak Prescott on the bench — Dak plays Monday, so that one stays open — and Alvin Kamara scored 13.2 on the bench too. A Kevin win is his 90th.

Anthony 100.54, Michael 83.70. Third week running: James Cook, on a bye, started, 0.0. Davante Adams, on injured reserve, started, 0.0. And Michael is 16.85 behind with Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker both playing tonight in Seattle, because Jameson Williams scored 26.1 and Rhamondre Stevenson 22.5 and the Vikings defense 10, and Tre Tucker scored 21.3 on his bench, a week after 26.7 there. Anthony is done at 100.54 — Drake Maye 25.44, Braelon Allen 19.4, the Raiders defense 1.0 — and traded Blake Corum away this morning. Corum scored 17.1 for John E. RJ Harvey scored 14.0 on Anthony’s bench. If Michael wins this with two zeros in his lineup, that’s twice in three weeks, and I will stop pretending the lineup matters.

mike 95.70, Owen 73.98. Monday game: George Pickens for mike, Javonte Williams for Owen, Owen needing 21.73 net. Bucky Irving 23.0, Ollie Gordon 17.3 and Puka Nacua 21.8 for mike, whose Jets defense — his fifth of the year — scored 1.0. Zay Flowers scored 27.7 for Owen and Nico Collins 2.6. Rachaad White, who was John E.’s for ninety minutes this morning, is back on mike’s bench.

Jeff 80.30, Tim 73.60. Tim is done. Lamar Jackson, listed Out again, started again, 0.0 again. Brian Thomas, on the Jaguars’ bye, started, 0.0. Quinshon Judkins scored 23.4, which is the whole story of the lineup. Jeff has Sam Darnold and Travis Kelce tonight and leads by 6.7, so barring a Darnold disaster the series is 8-4 Jeff and Tim stays on 74 wins. Tony Pollard scored 36.5, the best line in the league this week so far. Jeff’s kicker is Dominic Zvada, signed Thursday night, 3.0.
